With over four decades of experience, Master Photographer Larry Nordwick has been honored to document thousands of weddings, portraits, and special events. Our studio is located in the heart of Monterey, California, and we proudly serve the surrounding areas, including Carmel, Salinas, and San Jose.
Our Story
Larry's passion for photography began at a young age, when he accidentally enrolled in a photo class at Salinas High School. He quickly discovered his talent for capturing life's moments and went on to photograph his first wedding at the tender age of 16. By 19, Larry had already photographed over 100 weddings and had established Creative Images Photography.
Throughout his career, Larry has been mentored by some of the greatest photographers in the industry, including the legendary Ansel Adams and Ken Cook. He has honed his skills through hands-on training, workshops, and numerous awards, including the Master of Photography degree from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and five consecutive wins in the Professional Photographers of California wedding album competition.
