Hello! I'm Babette, the photographer behind Nautilus Studio Photography, and I'm thrilled to have you here looking at my work. Allow me to introduce myself, so you can get to know me a little better. I was born and raised in Munich, Germany, and I am the daughter of a commercial photographer and artist. I am bilingual and speak both German and English.

From a very young age, I fell in love with photography and my pride was a Canon AE-1 camera that went with me on many travels. I dreamed of being a photographer and seeing the beauty of this world through images. But life threw me some curveballs. It took quite some years to close the circle and make this childhood dream come true. I have lived in Florida since 1999 and have been professionally photographing for over 20 years.

My favorite food is Spaghetti in all imaginable variations. I like to spice things up and even as a "seasoned" photographer, there is not a day without learning something new, or finding room for improvement. I like the intimate and personal approach to all of my work.

Our Photography Services

For wedding photography, I specialize in small, micro, and destination weddings. If you are celebrating with over 50 guests for an all-day wedding session, I may not be the right choice for you. I work alone without a second shooter. Of course, I am available for ceremony-only assignments, intimate couple sessions, or pre or post-wedding photography. Most of my wedding photography is in Florida, but I was also hired for destination weddings in other States and Europe.

I love photographing people and their Life Milestones. From marriage proposals and engagements to weddings, maternity to birth, newborns to first Birthdays, Lifestyle and people photography is what I love to do. I don't like to be put in a photography style or box. I capture what I see and keep it simple and natural. I am blessed to do what I love and can not wait to meet you and create your photo memories.

Marriage Proposal & Engagement Photography

Planning a marriage proposal? I will photograph your marriage proposal discreetly, so you have privacy during this special moment. After the actual proposal, I will take you for some portraiture and engagement photos. Marriage Proposal Photography and Engagements at the location of your choice in Central Florida on both sides of the coast.

Maternity Photography

Maternity photography at locations of your choice are available. I capture your pregnancy journey and love to create beautiful and intimate images of this special time in your life.

Newborn Photography

Newborn photography is a very special part of my work. I capture the first moments of your new life in this world and document the first weeks and months of your baby's life.

Lifestyle Photography

Lifestyle photography is about capturing your daily life and special moments with your family and friends. From family gatherings to special events, I love to capture these moments for you.
