The Flower Farm is a charming and historic destination located just outside of Sacramento, California. Established in 1905 by J.H. Nixon, the farm has been a beloved spot for relaxation, entertainment, and celebration for over a century.

Our History

The Flower Farm is a family-owned and operated business that has been passed down through generations. Today, the farm is under the care of John and Annie Bowler, who have lovingly restored the historic main house and built new guest cottages. The farm is also home to a beautiful nursery, a cozy cafe, and a tasting room for our friends at Casque Wines.

Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a special event space, the Flower Farm has something for everyone. Our inn offers luxurious accommodations for up to 14 guests, with each room uniquely decorated and equipped with modern amenities. Our cafe serves delicious breakfast and lunch options, using fresh ingredients from our own gardens and orchards. And our tasting room is the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine or a casual meal with friends and family.

The Flower Farm is the perfect location for your special day, with our beautifully restored barn accommodating up to 200 guests. Our event space is available for weddings, corporate events, and parties of all kinds. And with our in-house catering team, you can trust that every detail will be taken care of.

The Flower Farm is proud to partner with our friends at Casque Wines, offering a selection of fine Bordeaux blends available for tasting and purchase in our tasting room. Our wine experts are always happy to help you find the perfect wine for any occasion.

In addition to our inn, cafe, and tasting room, the Flower Farm is home to a lush and varied garden, a large vegetable garden, and a six-acre mandarin orchard.
