Your Dream Wedding & Cozy Retreat at Flower Farm Inn in Sacramento
Flower Farm Inn was established in 1905 by J.H. Nixon, who cultivated thirty acres of plums and built the main farmhouse. The Leonard family acquired the property in 1993, launching the Bed and Breakfast and Nursery while discovering the Sweet Dreams Coreopsis flower. In 2004, John and Annie Bowler purchased the farm, renovating the farmhouse, adding guest cottages, and transforming the barn into a premier event space. Our team, including longtime collaborators Rich and Sheri Fischer and Patti Foust, has developed the Nursery and Cafe into regional destinations. We cultivate six acres of mandarins, a half-acre of Malbec grapes, and maintain extensive vegetable gardens and cutting flower beds.

Casque Wines established a tasting room here in 2012, using reclaimed materials from the property. Our commitment to sustainability includes solar energy, eco-friendly farming, recycling, and sourcing ingredients locally. The Nursery partners with UC Davis Arboretum All-Stars to offer drought-tolerant plants. We host yoga, gardening, and art classes, along with educational farm tours. Our mission is to help guests celebrate life through immersive farm experiences, combining historic charm with modern comforts.
