Our story began over a century ago, when the Cates family first owned the land, using it for cattle, cotton, and sorghum production. Fast forward to the 1990s, when Toni and Lewis Melton built their home on the property. It wasn't until 2012, however, that the barn was converted into a wedding venue for their son's wedding. Toni's vision for Sweet Briar Farm has since evolved into a passion for creating unforgettable experiences for every couple who chooses to have their special day here. Every event is tailored to reflect the couple's unique style and preferences, ensuring that every moment is cherished for years to come.
