Founded in 1986 by owner Sam Fanelli, L.A. Express DJs is a locally owned business that uses a full digital audio format and a new innovative sound system by Bose. With over 35 years of experience in the industry, we have established ourselves as a reliable and professional company dedicated to providing high-quality entertainment services.

Weddings

L.A. Express specializes in Wedding Receptions and has been providing quality, guaranteed entertainment services in DMV since 1982. We understand that every wedding is unique, and we strive to provide personalized services that meet the specific needs and preferences of each couple. Our DJs meet with the couple in advance to find out what music they both like and dislike and to make a preliminary schedule of events. Our entertainers don't just stand there and play music. We are actively involved with all aspects of the reception, ensuring that everything flows smoothly throughout the event.

Ceremony Music Services

Today, a growing trend in weddings is to hold your Ceremony and Reception at the same venue. However, one of the most overlooked aspects of a ceremony is the Ceremony Music and who is going to play it. Most country clubs and outdoor venues are not equipped to play music for your ceremony, like a traditional church or sanctuary. If you are not going to have Live Musicians to play for your ceremony, then recorded music should be a consideration. We are well versed in this service and will be happy to provide assistance with your ceremony sound and equipment. On-site Wedding Ceremony Services Include: Sound System and Speakers, Lapel microphone For Your Officiant, Wireless handheld microphone on stand for Readers, Music For Your Guests Arrival, All music needed for Ceremony, Assistance with Music Planning, Timing and Coordination, Complete coordination with the Officiant for a flawless Ceremony.

School Events

We have extensive experience in providing entertainment services for school events. From themed elementary school parties to middle school themed dances to high school prom and aftergrad, LA Express has been there, done that! For elementary and middle school events, our music is squeaky clean. We screen the current hits and play appropriate music. Although we get radio edits, the music left behind still has a subject matter we do not find suitable for young school children. Many times we have done edits ourselves to make a popular song even cleaner than the radio edits. We pride ourselves as the DJ's that play clean music.

Corporate Events

We have done many company events. Our professional sound system can handle events that cover the size of a football field. We have done corporate events to small business picnics. Formal military balls to a festive holiday party.
