Your Chico Wedding Venue & Farm Experience
TJ Farms Estates began in 1937 when Doctor Lloyd Landis built the original farmhouse on this property. The Moss family acquired the land in 1952, cultivating walnuts, almonds, and kiwi fruit while facing challenges like the devastating 1980s floods. In 1992, the family relocated its pumpkin patch to the 15-acre home site, establishing the foundation for todays multifaceted operation. Over decades, weve evolved into a premier destination for intimate weddings, seasonal festivals, and gourmet food production. Our 1937 farmhouse and lush grounds now host events surrounded by orchards, while our state-licensed kitchen crafts jams, pickles, and dressings using farm-fresh ingredients.

We launched Farm Camp in 2007 to educate youth about agriculture, reflecting our commitment to community engagement. Through generations, weve preserved Northern Californias agricultural heritage while innovating with new crops, products, and programs. Our familys deep roots in farming drive our mission to share this unique experience with visitors. We thank our loyal customers for supporting our growth and enabling us to maintain this cherished Chico landmark.

Gourmet Products
We produce gourmet jams, pickles, and dressings using farm-fresh ingredients in our state-licensed kitchen. Signature items include kiwi hot pepper jam, dill pickles, and poppyseed dressing. Products undergo cold-curing for crispness and are hand-packed with fresh herbs and spices. Available year-round at our farm store and local retailers, these preserves showcase Northern Californias agricultural bounty through traditional preparation methods.
Farm Tours
Guided tours explore our working farms history, crops, and operations. Visitors learn about seasonal produce cycles, preservation techniques, and sustainable farming practices.
