For over 30 years, the Mendota Civic Center has been a leader in event planning, providing exceptional services for weddings, receptions, business meetings, and social events. Located on beautiful Lake Mendota, our facility offers a variety of rooms and sizes to accommodate events of all kinds. From intimate gatherings to grand celebrations, we strive to make every event a memorable and relaxing experience.

Our Services

We specialize in weddings and receptions, business meetings, showers, banquets, funeral dinners, prom, and class/family reunions. Our services include an event coordinator, hostess for the day/evening of the event, a full-service bar with bartender, custom room layout, a 25'x18' wooden dance floor, catering services, and setup & teardown of tables and chairs. We also offer consultation and tours of the grounds and facility for all events.

Facility Details

Our facility spans over 17,000 square feet and features four main areas: the Grand Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 350 guests; the Pergola, perfect for outdoor ceremonies; the Mission Room, ideal for smaller gatherings; and the Illinois Room, suitable for intimate events. We have ample parking with over 150 spaces, including handicap parking, and the building is fully handicap accessible.
