Our History
Before the property that became Wilder Park was acquired by the Park District in 1921, it was carefully tended and landscaped by some of Elmhurst's most prominent families. The home, built in 1868, has a rich history, having belonged to several families, including the King and Wilder families, before being purchased by the Elmhurst Park District. Today, Wilder Mansion is a cherished landmark in the community, offering a unique and elegant setting for events of all kinds.

With over 9,000 square feet of event space, Wilder Mansion can accommodate up to 250 guests.
