Founded in 2003, Nichole Weddings and Events is a boutique wedding planning firm located in Honolulu, Hawaii, and serving all of the Hawaiian Islands. We are passionate about our couples and their unique love stories and are dedicated to providing thoughtful service and unforgettable events. Our goal is to take care of every minute detail so that our couples can have fun and enjoy the planning process and their wedding day to the fullest.

Nichole, Founder & Principal Planner

Nichole, the founder of Nichole Weddings and Events, was born in a small town in the Midwest and raised with a strong work ethic, unquestionable integrity, and principled values. She received her bachelor's degree from Concordia College in Minnesota and held several positions in catering and event planning before relocating to Hawaii in 2001. After working as catering director for a private downtown club in Honolulu, she entered the wedding industry in 2003. Nichole's calm demeanor, aesthetic, ability to understand and execute her client's vision, and excellent vendor relationships come together to create the perfect fusion of function and style. When not planning weddings, she can be found singing in the car with her 14-year-old son, walking her 12-year-old "puppy" Garth, baking her families' favorite goodies, or dreaming about her next trip to Italy.

Chelsea, Lead Planner

Chelsea has been with Nichole Weddings and Events since 2016 and is an invaluable part of the team. Her upbeat and friendly personality puts everyone at ease, while her desire for perfection and relentless organizational skills ensure her clients' dream wedding will happen without a hitch. Chelsea's creativity and fresh, modern sensibility are key attributes when helping her brides and grooms bring their vision to life. She is a graduate of the University of Hawaii with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the prestigious Shidler College of Business. Chelsea's wedding planning experience has been exclusive to Hawaii, so she possesses a great deal of knowledge in Oahu weddings as well as other islands. Together with her husband, she has lived on Oahu for over 8 years and truly loves the island life.

Kayleigh, Planner

Kayleigh joined Nichole Weddings and Events in 2019. She is a hopeless romantic, extremely detail-oriented, and loves logistics. She was born and raised in Michigan and has worked in the hospitality industry for the past 18 years. She received her bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management with an emphasis in Event Coordination from Grand Valley State University. She has been planning weddings in Hawaii since 2014 on all of the major islands and believes planning weddings is truly her life's passion. Kayleigh's favorite things are being outside, flowers, traveling, a good drink, and delicious food.

Our team specializes in Full Service Planning where we are by your side throughout the entire planning process from the moment after you say "YES" all the way through the "I DO's." We start by getting to know you and understanding your style and vision, then work together to create a one-of-a-kind wedding that reflects your personalities and love story. From there, we handle every detail, including vendor management, budget tracking, timeline creation, and event design, so you can enjoy your engagement and the wedding day of your dreams.
