At Your Next DJ, we are a husband-and-wife team, Erick and Jocelyn Mejia, who have been in the entertainment industry for over a decade, serving the Central Florida area. With a passion for music and a dedication to providing exceptional service, we strive to create unforgettable, fun, and unique entertainment experiences that truly reflect our clients' style and personality.
Our Story
Our journey began when Erick, at the age of 10, discovered his love for crowd entertainment. This spark was ignited at a friend's graduation party, where he publicly sang "Oh, I Just Can't Wait to Be King" from Disney's Lion King. This joy and thrill of public performance continued throughout his high school years, where he enrolled in every acting class available and performed in several school plays. Erick's first paid gig as a wedding DJ at 15, earning an impressive $50 for providing music and entertainment for a crowd of 150 guests at Timber Pines Clubhouse in Spring Hill. Since that humble beginning, we have assisted friends and family with their special events, and our services have spread through word-of-mouth.
