Who We Are
Amanda's Imagery is a photography studio founded by Amanda, a passionate and experienced photographer, and her husband Jordon, a pharmacist with a keen eye for detail. Our journey began in 2007, when Amanda started her photography business as a creative outlet while in college. With a Bachelor's degree in Painting/Photography from the University of Sioux Falls, Amanda has honed her skills through years of practice, education, and dedication.
Our Story
As a child, Amanda was fascinated by light and shadows in nature and architecture, which drew her to photography. She began competing in photography competitions and enhancing her skills through continuing education. After studying abroad at Oxford University, Amanda decided to take her photography business full-time. With a strong foundation in both dark room and digital photography, Amanda has developed a unique style that blends structure and whimsy to tell stories through imagery.
Our Services
At Amanda's Imagery, we specialize in capturing life's precious moments through our photography services. Whether it's a wedding, event, or on-location portrait session, we're dedicated to preserving your special moments and telling your story. With a full lighting kit, we're also available to set up in office settings or studio locations for commercial and indoor portrait projects. Our experience has taken us across the country, from Florida to California, Mexico, and even Australia, and we're confident in our ability to capture and preserve your stories.
What to Expect
Working with us is a personal and collaborative experience. The first step is to reach out and share your story. We'll then send over detailed information about booking and scheduling. We'll schedule a time to discuss your vision for our services and answer any questions you may have. Once you've booked, we'll send over a booking form and questionnaire that will help us best create your vision for your portraits. Before the shoot, we'll touch base to discuss scheduling and final details. After the shoot, we'll deliver your digital gallery and share sneak peeks on our Instagram page @amandasimagery.
