Who We Are
We're Ashley & Jay, luxury destination wedding videographers creating heirloom films with heart. Our story began over 15 years ago when we first started capturing love stories as wedding videographers. Since then, we've had the privilege of documenting over 200 couples' special days, and we couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity to do what we love.
Our journey started with a shared passion for storytelling and a desire to capture the extraordinary moments of love and commitment. We've had the privilege of traveling the world, capturing the beauty of love, and creating cinematic stories for our couples. Our films are not just a video of the day's events but a living, breathing piece of art that honors the couple's love story.
Our Story
As the co-founder of INVISIBLE HOUSE, I (Ashley) was raised by a family of artists and have been surrounded by the world of photography and filmmaking from a very young age. I grew up being fascinated by the way light and motion could come together to tell a story. I began experimenting with photography and filmmaking as a teenager and eventually went on to study business and film production.
My path took a turn when I was asked to document a friend's wedding. That's when I knew I had found my calling. The joy of being part of two families coming together to begin a new life together, the excitement of capturing the special moments, and the thrill of creating a piece of art that would last a lifetime.
On the other hand, my partner Jay has a more unconventional background. Growing up, he was fascinated by the technical side of filmmaking, from cameras to editing. He started his career in the industry by assisting his father in his dad's cabinet shop while pursuing a business degree. However, he soon discovered his true passion lay in capturing people and their stories. He spent years honing his craft, and eventually, we met, and the rest is history.
