About Me
Hello, I'm Bob Peck, the owner and lead cinematographer of Magic Hour Creative. I have lived in Asheville, NC most of my life, and my family is everything to me. I've had a varied career path, starting as an audio engineer and producing thousands of radio commercials. Outside of work, you can find me enjoying live music, particularly bluegrass, and playing my guitar and banjo whenever I can.

How Do We Hire You?
Hiring a cinematographer is a big decision, and we understand that. To make it easy, simply start by filling out our contact form, and we'll quickly follow up with you about our availability. We believe that a no-pressure discovery call over the phone, FaceTime, or Zoom is the best way to discuss your wedding plans and what we can do to best document your day. Once we determine we're a good fit for each other, you may reserve us with a contract and deposit, all done online.
What Do We Get?
The centerpiece of our offerings is a cinematic wedding film, a fully produced, compelling masterpiece complete with stunning visuals, fitting music, and natural audio from the day like vows and speeches. We also offer additional videos such as rehearsal dinner, full-length ceremony, reception speeches, bonus reel, and social media trailer.
What Kind of Music Do You Use in Your Films?
Music is an important aspect of any film, as it totally sets the mood. We utilize several libraries where we can license all the music in our films. It's a painstaking process, and we work hard to find the right music to fit the vibe of your wedding.
How Many Cinematographers Do You Use?
Every event is unique. We work closely with our clients to assess logistics, layouts, and timelines while using our experience to determine the right team for each event. We typically use up to 4 cameras for your wedding ceremony.
I'm a Bit Camera-Shy. Is This Going to Be a Problem?
Relax. We understand that not everyone is comfortable in front of a camera. Our goal is to make you feel at ease, allowing us to capture your special day with authenticity and sincerity.
