My name is Julie, and I am a photographer with a passion for capturing the love, warmth, happiness, and joy of my clients through my camera lens. I pride myself on offering a guided, easy-to-work-with photography experience tailored to your personalities. My clients become friends over the years and hold a special place in my heart.
Meet Julie
I am a Hampton Roads-based photographer who grew up in a military family, which allowed me to live in many places before settling in Hampton Roads. I began working in the wedding industry in 2006, doing wedding planning at a large resort. Still, I soon found myself in love with photography. After graduating from Christopher Newport University, I explored the idea of a career in photography. I fell in love with it so fast that I can honestly say I absolutely LOVE what I do. I have the best husband in the world, and we have two crazy-fun kids and two fur-babies. In my free time, I love being in the gym, at the beach, or playing sports.
My Photography Style
My favorite thing about photography is getting to know my clients, their stories, their families, their friends, and making that special connection. I blend traditional photo-journalistic photography with my own creative flare! Yes, traditional photos are great and beautiful; however, clients fall in love with my creative, fun shots. It's my desire for each client to look at their pictures years from now and still remember the exact emotion and excitement they felt.

- Weddings: I provide full-day wedding coverage, with pricing starting at $3,250. My services include online private websites, all images on USB drive, full copy rights to all images, and professional re-touching and edits. I also offer smaller packages for micro-weddings and elopements, starting at $475, with additional hours available at a lower rate (up to 5 hours max).
- Engagements: I offer engagement photography sessions to capture the love and excitement of couples before their big day.
- High School Seniors: I provide senior portrait photography services to help high school seniors celebrate this significant milestone in their lives.
- Families & More: I offer family photography services, including maternity, to help families capture this special time in their lives.
