I absolutely loved hosting my baby shower at Tysons Ballroom Dance Center! The space is beautiful, spacious, and spotlesstruly everything you could want when planning a special event. I received so many compliments from my guests about how stunning the venue was.
The owner, Mr. Garry, is amazing to work with. He is genuinely one of the nicest people and was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process. Every question I had was answered quickly, and he made everything feel easy and stress-free.
I couldnt have asked for a better experience. If I could give more than 5 start i definitely would! Highly recommend this venue for any event!

I have enjoyed the 2 international latin classes where one can learn a step pattern, technique and timing in Rumba, Cha Cha, samba, jive and Paso doble. The 2 classes are 45minutes each from 630 to 8 pm on Monday evenings.
There are various beginner thru advanced classes throughout the week days.
I have enjoyed group and private lessons with various teachers who taught as employees for the studio and are now working as independent contractors. Recently I have been learning from Serhii Matviichuk. All the studio teachers and visiting guest teachers/coaches have shared their knowledge and expertise in dance and movement whether dancing with a partner or alone for exercise. What a great way to get up and move to music after a day at an office or driving distances.

We rented the dance center out for a birthday party and it was exactly as we needed. Garry was very welcoming, helpful and responsive with anything that we asked. The center was clean and impressive with their tv display for a slideshow, light towers and their very well kept dance flooring. I would highly recommended and we will definitely be renting again in the future.

Tysons Ballroom is absolutely fantastic! The studio has such a positive, welcoming energy, and the training is top-notch. The teachers are all incredibly knowledgeable and inspiring, and you can really see the difference in the quality of instruction. The owner is super supportive and truly cares about every dancers growth and success it feels like being part of a family. I couldnt recommend Tysons Ballroom more highly to anyone looking for a studio that combines excellent training with a genuinely uplifting environment!

Tysons Ballroom Dance Center is great! My husband and I took lessons with Marharyta to prepare for our wedding and she was a fabulous teacher. I started out as a total novice to the basics of ballroom dancing, but by the end of our month or so of lessons we pulled off our first dance (which included a lift and multiple dips) flawlessly. Highly recommend!

I have been taking lessons at Tysons Ballroom and Dancesport Center for about a year and a half, going several times a week for private lessons. It is an awesome place in every way.
First of all, the dance instruction is amazingly superior. I am learning American Smooth and have regular lessons with Serhii Matviichuk, who is an exceptionally accomplished professional ballroom dancer from Ukraine. He is also patient (thankfully for me) -- and inspiring and fun! He is encouraging and is helping me strive to be the very best dancer I can be. We sometimes compete in Pro/Am competitions and Serhii analyzes my results and performance to encourage and help me -- and for me, this is one of the most important things about doing the competitions. I also have had some lessons with Rita and Suski and even the owner, Garry Gekhman. Everyone at Tysons is super friendly and will make you feel comfortable - and happy:))
Garry has done such an impressive job building the studio and bringing in such high quality instructors. He also does a lot to help the dance community and people in need. He arranges competitions and also parties and showcases in the studio, so there are classes and social events at Tysons and also dance lessons for couples learning to dance for their wedding and for children (I love to watch Rita teach the cute children who come there).

This is the perfect studio to learn or improve Ballroom Dance. Tyson's Ballroom Dance Center has experienced instructors who will patiently walk you through every step or help you improve and compete if that's your goal. In our case, they are providing teacher training at the highest level. Everyone is very down to Earth and kind, a pleasure to work with.

I absolutely love this dance studio and highly recommend it. I have been taking lessons with Serhii and Ryta. The instructors are not only the consummate professionals; but they are also extremely thoughtful and skilled in teaching techniques to even an inflexible beginner (me!). Our first introductory lesson with Rita was amazing!! She was such a great teacher and we feel we learned so much to help us prepare for our wedding in 3 months from just one session with her! She taught us very important basics but also listened to the song for our first dance and tailored the lesson to that. We had so much fun and feel like we can be capable dancers that we will be taking more lessons with her before our wedding!

Tyson's Ballroom is a great spot to learn and improve ballroom dancing capabilities. Whether you want to learn the latin dances, or waltz and foxtrot to the standards so you can enjoy more formal events and weddings, I highly recommend Tyson's Ballroom. A few lessons with the teachers there made the waltz I did with my father at my wedding look absolutely effortless.
