Our Story

Welcome to Windsor Manor Wedding Venue, where we celebrate love and create timeless memories. Our venue is more than just a backdrop for your special day; it's a living storybook, a testament to history, and a dreamlike escape nestled in the heart of Augusta, GA.

Our journey began with a vision to preserve this architectural gem, a 1921 Tudor-style cottage steeped in history. Designed by the renowned architect Willis Irvin, Windsor Manor exudes charm with its distinctive stucco and stone facade, diamond-paned windows, and a captivating tiled roof. Step inside, and you'll be greeted by the warmth of stained woodwork, a majestic beamed ceiling reminiscent of a hunting lodge, and a grand, working stone fireplace, both crafted from locally sourced sandstone and timber.

From its inception, Windsor Manor has witnessed the passage of time, harboring tales of past inhabitants. Once the grand estate of Mr. Cole, a prominent industrialist, it served as a haven for his horses, a place where children frolicked by natural springs transformed into a picturesque pond. Imagine lively gatherings around a crackling fireplace, sharing stories and laughter as the apple barrel in the cellar overflowed with fresh fruit.

In later years, the Golosky family, known for their love of nature and elegance, embraced Windsor Manor as their summer retreat. Their passion for gardening and artistry left an indelible mark on the surrounding grounds, transforming them into a haven of vibrant flowers and whimsical details.

After a period of vacancy and hardship, Windsor Manor was entrusted to a team passionate about restoring its former glory. With meticulous care, the house was brought back to life - rewired, replumbed, repainted, and equipped with modern comforts while preserving its historical integrity.
