At Shakar Photography, we are a husband and wife team of photographers, Ambreen & Shalin Zaveri, dedicating ourselves to capturing life's precious moments for our clients. As parents of three amazing children adopted through the foster care system, we understand the importance of cherishing every moment, no matter how fleeting. Our goal is to document every milestone in your family, from your wedding to maternity to newborn and family, so that these treasured moments can be passed down to generations.
Our Story
We first met in college, and our love for photography began taking shape. Ambreen, with her artistic background and passion for fine art portraiture, has always been fascinated by the power of photography to freeze time and preserve memories. Shalin, with his technical skills and experience in the IT industry, brought a strong technical background to the business, complementing Ambreen's creative genius. Together, we formed Shakar Photography in 2011, and our journey has been nothing short of incredible.
Studio Portraits
Located in Lewisville, Texas, our fully-equipped studio offers a welcoming environment for our clients. With a range of props, backdrops, and outfits, we strive to make you feel comfortable and at ease during your portrait session. Our studio is designed to capture the essence of your family's personality, creating timeless and treasured keepsakes.
Headshots & Photo Booth
In addition to our studio portraits, we also offer headshot services for corporate and family events, as well as photo booth rentals for those unforgettable moments. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your event is remembered for years to come.

Ambreen Zaveri - Owner & Photographer:
With a degree in Art and Design from the Art Institute of Atlanta, Ambreen has years of experience in film and digital photography, as well as post-production expertise in Photoshop. Her creative vision and artistic eye have earned her a reputation for producing breathtaking images.
Shalin Zaveri - Owner & Photographer:
As a professional in the IT industry for over 15 years, Shalin brings a unique technical perspective to our business. His natural talent for photography has flourished under Ambreen's guidance, making our partnership a true dynamic duo.
Allie Wheeler - Studio Assistant & Photographer:
Bringing fresh energy and enthusiasm to our team, Allie has been an integral part of our studio, assisting clients and capturing unforgettable moments.

Disappointing Experience
The first review is from Brandy H., who rated the vendor 1 star. She had purchased a canvas for over $300 in December 2020 and has been trying to contact the vendor to obtain the product. Despite multiple attempts, she claims that the vendor has not returned her calls, emails, or inquiries. As a result, she feels that the vendor has stolen from her and has no other recourse than to warn others about their business. Brandy is "furious and disappointed" with the experience.
