Our studio is located in Charleston, South Carolina, and we offer a wide range of photography services including weddings, studio and on-location portraiture, boudoir, pets, equine, and headshots and branding.

Our studio is conveniently located at 1316 Rutledge Ave. Suite 101 C Charleston, SC 29403, just across the street from Rutledge Cab Company, 5 minutes to Hampton Park, 5 minutes to historic downtown, and 30 minutes to Folly Beach or Isle of Palms Beach. We believe in creating images that remind us of the best moments in our lives, and we strive to capture true, authentic imagery as it naturally unfolds, preserving genuine emotions in every shot.

Meet Your Charleston Photographer

Heather Johnson is the founder and photographer behind Heather Johnson Photography. With a degree in Photography from the University of South Carolina, Heather has been a full-time photographer for 18 years. She is passionate about capturing genuine moments and believes in the power of photography to preserve memories and emotions.

Heather loves listening to stories and telling a few of her own, and she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as her pets, Tyra the dog and The Great Gatsby the horse. When she's not behind the camera, Heather can be found at the horse stables, trail riding, at a horse show, hanging out with her dog or horse, at the beach, or traveling.
