Our History

East Coast Music & Entertainment was founded in the late 1970s by Dan Vitalo, Jr., who sought to bring something fresh and different to the Long Island bar and college music scene. His vision was to create a fun, eclectic rock and roll band with both male and female lead vocalists and a horn section. Over the years, East Coast has evolved into a prototype for the wedding and corporate performance industry standard.
