Our story began when co-founders Tod and Jennifer Owsley discovered the Sperry Sailcloth Tents and fell in love with their charming blend of elegance, durability, and simplicity. Over two decades later, we have honed our expertise in creating bespoke event spaces that exceed our clients' expectations.

Our Story

Tod and Jennifer's journey in the events industry began when they attended a friend's wedding in New England, where they discovered the Sperry Tent. Impressed by its striking design and functionality, they decided to introduce this innovative concept to the West Coast. Thus, Zephyr Tents was born.

Throughout their careers, both Tod and Jennifer have garnered extensive experience in the events industry. Tod, previously Director of City Access Providers, has coordinated numerous high-profile events, including the Super Bowl, San Francisco's Black and White Ball, and the Major League Baseball World Series Hospitality Village. Jennifer, a Cornell University-trained hospitality professional, has several years of experience working at upscale caterers and events companies.

Our Team

Our team is comprised of dedicated professionals who share our passion for delivering exceptional events. Jason Weade, our Production Manager, ensures that every detail is meticulously planned and executed to perfection. With a background in sales and construction of geodesic domes, Jason brings a unique perspective to event planning. His troubleshooting skills and unflappable demeanor make him an invaluable asset to our team.

Our crew leaders and crew members are highly skilled and professional, earning praise from our clients for their exceptional service. When not working, you can often find them enjoying the local food scene at Ironworks or Prizefighter.
