Taylor and Allie Forward are a husband and wife duo who have turned their shared passion for photography into a thriving business. Based in the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii, they specialize in capturing the authentic moments of couples in love through their unique and adventurous approach to wedding and elopement photography. With a combined experience of 5 years, Taylor and Allie have perfected their craft of capturing real emotions and moments, rather than relying on fake smiles and awkward poses.

At The Forwards Photography, we understand the importance of capturing the true essence of a couple's love and connection on their special day. We strive to create photos that will serve as a timeless reminder of the couple's unique love story, and the raw emotions and moments that made their wedding day special. Our photography approach is natural and candid, with a focus on capturing the couple's personalities and the love they share for each other. Education and Mentoring

Beyond our photography services, we are also passionate about helping other photographers turn their dreams into realities and take their businesses to the next level. We offer education and mentoring services for photographers, sharing our knowledge and experience to empower and inspire others to pursue their own passions and dreams.

Our Story

Our story began in Tennessee, where we met through mutual friends. Our first date was a trip with friends to Chicago, where we camped on the shores of Lake Michigan, stuffed our faces with pizza, and started to fall in love as we explored the city. With a shared love for adventure and a desire to lead a life less ordinary, Taylor proposed 6 months later, and we soon after got married in Allie's parents' backyard.

In our first year of marriage, we learned to be married, flipped a house, and photographed weddings and couples. We soon realized that being married isn't always easy, but it's definitely worth it. We also discovered that we weren't cut out to be the next Chip and Joanna Gaines and that we loved shooting couples that valued each other and adventure over table settings.

In our second year of marriage, we sold almost everything we owned, packed the rest up, and moved to Maui. We've been here ever since and absolutely love our new life here, but seriously do miss Chick-fil-A and Trader Joe's. Follow along with our story and adventures on Instagram!
