Our Story
The property was originally built in 1906 by Mr. Hammer Clabo, and it has been passed down through generations of the King family. Over the years, we have carefully restored the lodge to its former glory, maintaining its original charm while adding modern conveniences. Our mission is to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making our guests feel like they are part of the family.
Our Property
Our 23-acre property is a working farm, with a variety of animals, including horses, cows, and farm animals. We offer horseback riding lessons and farm experiences, giving our guests a unique opportunity to connect with nature. Our farm also produces fresh eggs, which are available for our guests to enjoy.
Lodging Options
We offer several lodging options, including the Main Lodge, the Cherokee Hill Cabin, and the Farmhouse. The Main Lodge features five private bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a large game room and bunk room. The Cherokee Hill Cabin is a cozy, self-contained cabin with one bedroom and one bathroom. The Farmhouse is a charming, rustic cabin with one bedroom and one bathroom.
Weddings and Elopements
A King's Lodge is a popular destination for weddings and elopements. Our property offers a breathtaking mountain view, perfect for an intimate ceremony. We can accommodate up to 50 guests for a ceremony and reception, making us an ideal choice for small weddings and elopements.
Catering and Private Chef
We offer catering services and a private chef for special events and occasions. Our chef can create customized menus to suit your taste and preferences. We also offer a full bar service, complete with a wide range of beverages and cocktails.
Experiences
