At Lisa's Bon Appetit, we have been creating unforgettable culinary experiences for over four decades. Our story began in the late 1950s when Lisa Eriksen, our founder, discovered her passion for cooking and entertaining. Lisa's love for feeding family and friends grew into a successful catering business and eventually led to the opening of our first restaurant location in Torrance, California, in 1979. Since then, we have been dedicated to providing exceptional food and service to the communities of Los Angeles County and beyond.

Lisa's culinary journey started as a young wife and mother in California, where she entertained family and friends. Her talent for hosting and cooking led to constant praise from her guests, who encouraged her to start a business. In the late 1970s, Lisa took the leap of faith and began her career in the catering industry at La Venta Inn. Her passion for food and event planning propelled her to start her own catering business from home. The success of her home-based business inspired Lisa to open the first Lisa's Bon Appetit cafe on Vista Montana in Torrance, California, in 1979.

Lisa's daughter, Susanne, joined the business in the early 1980s, and together they grew the cafe into a beloved local establishment. In 1983, Susanne married Mark Alexander, and their sons, Leif and Ian, became a part of the family business. In 1988, the second Lisa's Bon Appetit cafe was opened at the Skypark Center in Torrance with Susanne and Mark at the helm. Lisa retired in 1989, leaving Susanne to continue the legacy.

Lisa's Bon Appetit offers a wide range of services, from catering to delicious, freshly-prepared meals at our cafe. Our services include:

1. Pick-Up - Call at least two days in advance to reserve your order for pick-up at our catering office. We accept orders for pick-up seven days a week.

2. Catering - We cater events of all sizes. From corporate meetings to birthday parties and weddings, our team of experienced chefs and event planners will ensure your event is memorable and stress-free. We offer customizable menus, and our team takes care of the set-up and clean-up.

3. Delivery Catering - Enjoy Lisa's Bon Appetit's delicious meals at your home or office. We offer delivery for orders with a minimum value of $250 within a 15-mile radius.

4. Event Catering - Let us take care of your next event. Our experienced event planners will work with you to create a customized menu and ensure every aspect of your event is seamless.

5. Menus - Our menus cater to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. We are committed to using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients in all of our dishes.

6. Venues - We have partnered with local venues in Los Angeles County to provide unforgettable experiences at stunning locations. Our event planners will work with you to find the perfect venue for your event.
