Negative Experience
Ebeling Events and its owner, Kim, were a disaster to work with for one unhappy couple. The couple, Jennifer Yip, had a terrible experience with Kim from start to end. Kim was unprofessional, unresponsive, and disorganized, causing stress and uncertainty throughout the planning process. The couple had to constantly follow up with Kim to ensure tasks were completed and details were not overlooked. Kim was even found to be speaking negatively about another bride and giving an overpriced quote to a desperate bride. The couple felt bait-and-switched when Kim assigned an associate to work their wedding day, and communication with Kim became spottier leading up to the wedding.
On the day of the wedding, Kim's team forgot to set out the table numbers, causing confusion and frustration among the guests. When the couple brought this to Kim's attention, she didn't apologize and instead blamed the chaos on the day. The couple felt that Kim's poor attitude and communication were not excusable and were left feeling like they wasted their money on a service that was not delivered as promised.
